These kids deserve some healthy vacations, thy need to take a break for themselves and also from their families. They need a meeting with nature without tight schedules, full school days and daily routines. Therefore, we are organizing a trip for 30 kids with special needs, together with companion/monitors according to their needs and ages, for them to visit Huerto Alegre´s Nature´s Classroom -located in Sierra Nevada (Granada): a protected environment of great ecologic value, due to its diversity of rare animals, vegetables and ecosystems. Nature´s Classroom is a global experience in which work and life in common are combined. It´s an experience in which learning is neither divided, nor has specific times or excluding environments. Coexistence is probably the most important that happens in a children´s classroom, since they share each others work, they play and also, they investigate and learn. What´s more, they learn household chores, they develop self-autonomy as regards group participation and conflict resolutions, thus developing a respectful, close and friendly way of relating to others.
