The goal of psychomotor development is about self-controlling the body until the child is capable of taking full advantage of all action and expression capabilities. It´s a reeducative/therapeutic practice that acts over the subject´s entire body by means of sensations, movements, games and their later representation, for the child to establish a link with himself. Thus, this program helps improving the conscience of the body, both moving and still; as well as self-controlling balance; organization of body awareness and space orientation, adapting to others and to the outside world; creativity, freedom of speech both in an imaginative and symbolic environment, and development of communication.
